Construction Start Notice

The Braddock West team is excited to share a project update with the community. After months of design and permit coordination, we are officially breaking ground on off-site utility construction at the future Braddock West development. Off-site construction will begin with the installation of a new sanitary sewer line along Wythe Street from the intersection of N. Fayette and Wythe Street to the intersection of N. Payne and Wythe Street. The duration for this segment of construction is approximately three (3) months and will require Wythe Street to remain closed 24/7 to ensure safe and efficient construction. Although Wythe Street will be closed, both the N. Fayette and N. Payne intersections will remain operational. In addition to the sanitary sewer construction along Wythe Street, construction that includes relocating overhead utility lines underground will begin on Madison Street. During this time, a portion of the eastbound lane will be closed during construction hours, but transportation in both directions will still be available.
